“Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Be clean. IMMEDIATELY he was cured of his leprosy.” Matthew 8:2-3, Mark 1:41-42, Luke 5:12-13.

“She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and IMMEDIATELY her bleeding stopped.” Luke 8:44

“Then he put his hands on her, and IMMEDIATELY she straightened up and praised God.” Luke 13:13

“IMMEDIATELY he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God.” Luke 18:43

“Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and IMMEDIATELY the man’s feet and ankles became strong.” Acts 3:7

Peter stepped out of the boat, saw the winds and waves and began to sink. He cried out. “Lord save me.” IMMEDIATELY Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. Matthew 14:31

Christ did not stand by waiting for Peter to descend lower into the water. The moment Peter called to the Lord, in that instant, IMMEDIATELY Jesus reached out his hand and lifted him.

Jesus does not wait to see how low we sink in our pit of despair or how deep we drown in our sea of sorrows before he rescues us. He does not linger for us to fall deeper in an ocean of hopelessness or plummet to a lower level in a sewer.

When we call to Him, Jesus saves us IMMEDIATELY. Our Lord died on the cross and saved us because he loves us and wants to be our Savior day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute. He gave his life for us so we’d be close to Him and enjoy His presence all the time. Christ rescued us to be our friend forever. Jesus delivered us so we could be his children and He’d be our Father. The Son of God set us free so we’d have a relationship with him, our Savior, Lord and God.

Jesus answers us IMMEDIATELY when we call for help and if we believe this, we should look up for His hand reaching out to us.
