“Meanwhile Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him. “Are you the king of the Jews?”
“Yes, it is as you say,” Jesus replied.” Matthew 27:11
Jesus confessed he was the King of the Jews. Have you confessed Christ as your Lord and Savior? Do you live for Christ?
Lord Jesus, give us the courage to say, “yes, it is as you say.” Believe and confess.
“About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Matthew 27:46
He died forsaken so that we might never be forsaken. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us (2 Corinthians 5:21).
He gave His life as a ransom for many (Matthew 20:28)
Christ died in our place on the cross. He carried our sins on His body and was separated from God, His Father.
Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brother to go to Galilee; there they will see me.” Matthew 28:10
Jesus is with us and will go with us. Let us tell others how they can find the Lord.
Go and tell, Christ is Risen. When we believe in Him, we, too will rise one day.
Happy Easter Blessings,
