TRUST and OBEY

TRUST AND OBEY

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His word, what a glory he sheds on our way. While we do his good will, He abides with us still, and with all who will trust and obey. Trust and obey, for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

What does trust and obey mean?

You are at the end of your rope. You tie a knot and hang there until you lose your grip or get so tired of holding on in your own strength that you can’t hold on any longer.

“Lord, I can’t do this, help me to trust you.”

You trust God.

He either gives you strength to hold on or endurance to climb the rope. Or maybe God spreads a net under you, so you can let go.

You are surrounded by a herd of lions and behind you is  river of crocodiles.

You trust God. Close your eyes, when you open them the lions are gone.

Evil men are chasing you.  They have cornered you to a high precipice.

Do you trust God and step off the cliff? Do you trust God to catch you before you fall to your death?

Or is it easier to trust God to send the evil men away?

Either way, trust and obey for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus.

What Bible verses do you think would be appropriate for these thoughts?

Thanks for suggesting

Hebrews  11
