Matthew 5:10-12 “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

Miss Blessing’s family abandoned her when she became a Christian. She joined the local church and moved from one Christian family to another to assist mothers with children. These families clothed and sheltered her but financially were unable to support her. She accepted the idea of being a nanny for the rest of her life.

I hired her to run errands and wash clothes. She proved to be faithful and hardworking

From the time she was a little girl she had always wanted to be a seamstress. So I decided to send her to school to be one.

A decade later, God blessed her by giving her a church family who loved her, a diploma in sewing, and her own sewing shop.

She had been persecuted for righteousness sake. God rewarded her. But her greatest reward will be in Heaven.
