Matthew 6:14-15 “For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”

For years I thought the Christian Africans had a greater ability to forgive than others did.

I never once heard one of them say, “I can’t forgive him. Or I’ll never forgive him Or I refuse to forgive him.”

The minister explained it to me.  “We preach that forgiving someone is part of a Christian’s life style. We tell believers to pray, read the Bible, come to church, tithe, and forgive others. Christ forgave you. And if you don’t forgive, God will not forgive you. And everyone wants forgiveness, so we need to forgive others. Amen.”
