Matthew 6:33 “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

When I first moved into the village, there was no well near my home. The closest water source was three miles away, so I hired women to carry water from other wells and the river to fill my reservoir. When the rains started the water ran off my roof and into the reservoir.

But then the rains stopped. All the wells and river went dry.  That evening we prayed.

Praise God. It rained all night. The heavy downpour provided enough water for everyone.

Seriously, there’s no need to worry about tomorrow. The Lord knows we need food, water, and shelter. He will provide.

But seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given you as well.
