Matthew 8:13 “Then Jesus said to the centurion, go! It will be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that very hour.”

Eunice and Lalo brought their six-month old baby who had not grown since his birth for me to examine. His heart rate and respirations were abnormally fast and irregular. So I sent them to a doctor for tests and x-rays.

After several weeks in the hospital, their baby was discharged. They believed their son was healed because he had received lots of medicines in the hospital.

They brought the child to me, but he wasn’t any better. They proudly showed me a giant x-ray of their son’s heart and lungs.

When I saw the defects, I wanted to cry. But the doctor had written on the health card. “Baby is discharged in very good health.”
His respirations and heart rate were still irregular and fast.

From that day the parents spoke only of the good health of their son. They believed the trip to the hospital had cured him.

Miraculously the child began to improve slowly. At a year and a half he learned to sit up. At two years he began crawling, and at three years he learned to walk. At four years their son could play.

They believed their baby was healthy.
Lord, help us believe it will be done just as we believe it will be done.
