Matthew 9:4-6 “Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts? Which is easier; to say,” Your sins are forgiven, or to say, Get up and walk? But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” Then he said to the paralytic “Get up, take your mat and go home.”

African believers pray for a lot of healing miracles. One Sunday the preacher talked about believing for a miracle.
“You need faith to believe.” He said this over twenty times during the sermon.

I hoped he would tell us how to get faith or how to increase the little faith we had.
“Faith comes by …?
“Lord, increase our faith.”

After the service I asked several members what the message was about.
“Jesus wants to heal us but we need faith.” Someone said.
“Yes, but how do you get faith?”
People shrugged or shook their heads.

There are times we get on a merry-go-round and go round and round seeking the answer.

Go to Jesus. The paralyzed man was first brought to Jesus.
The Lord gave him what he needed.
Ask the Lord Jesus. He will give you what you need.
Forgiveness. Healing. Faith.
