Matthew 9:15 “Jesus answered, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.”
A small group of Africans in my village believed in Christ and repented by turning away from their sins and following Him.
They were baptized and went to every church service as if that’s what Christians were supposed to do. If they were sick, they didn’t stay home, but attended church so others could pray for them.
They participated in all the Christian activities as if that were part of their new life.
They helped each other, gave, and tithed as if that were normal for Christians.
They fasted and designated days of fasting in which they met in the church to pray and fast together.
All the activities they did were a normal part of their lives as Christians.
