Matthew 10:23
When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. I tell you the truth, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.”
There are times when it is advisable to run away from persecution.
After a young Muslim lady became a Christian, she ran away from her father who threatened to kill her. She eventually went to Bible school and became a missionary to an isolated tribe in Africa.
Later, a young man ran away from his uncle’s persecution and started a large church among a western tribe.
After one young boy became a Christian, he escaped his grandfather’s beatings and sought help from missionaries. Fifteen years later, he became a doctor and returned to treat his people.
If God tells you to flee from your tormentors, do it. He might have another plan for you.
