Matthew 16:2-3 “He replied, When evening comes, you say, it will be fair weather, for the sky is red and in the morning. Today it will be stormy, for the sky is read and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the time.”
Since ninety-eight percent of Africans living in rural villages are farmers they know lots about the weather, seasons, and land.
They can point to the sky and say, “It will rain this afternoon.”
Or “I can’t go to market because the storm will catch me on the way.”
Or “It’s going to be hot today.”
I knew nothing about the signs of the sky. As a city girl, the farmers’ accurate weather predictions impressed me.
There are people who can look at the appearance of the sky and tell what kind of weather we will have, but these same people may not understand the signs of the last days, the end time.
And this is a pity because they are not preparing themselves for the end time.
